The Tlstá hora mountain - a hilly dominant ridge between the Bystrý brook valley and the Čutkovo valley has the character of an extensive plateau with beautiful views of all the surrounding mountain massifs and the town of Ružomberok.

Vlkolínec – is a living municipality which was declared a Reservation of Folk Architecture by the Slovak government in 1977 in order to permanently protect the cultural values of this locality and to preserve it as an intact settlement.

The Ružomberok - Malinô Brdo resort with the sub-title Ski & Bike resort belongs to the cadastre of Ružomberok – the Great Fatra and lies at an altitude from 545 to 1209 m a. s. l. 

The resort is located at the foot of the Great Fatra Mountains in the lower Liptov region.
