Behind the charming traditional windows, the restaurant's impressive stone fireplace creates a warm, homely atmosphere with burning fire, completing the unique experience of traditional Slovak cuisine and the delicious homemade dishes inspired by the recipes of Liptov grandmothers. Massive spruce-wood benches provide comfortable seating for up to 50 guests.   

All dishes served at Stará Koliba are prepared exclusively from authentic Slovak ingredients from our own farms and fields, as well as from trusted local producers. Enjoy the experience of traditional Slovak gastronomy and discover the true taste of Slovakia on your plate. 

Pets are not permitted in the restaurant.

The restaurant at Stará Koliba also features a traditional Liptov-style room that serves as a private dining space for up to 10 guests.

Our traditional gánok – the covered wooden porch typical of Slovak kolibas – offers seating for up to 30 guests. During the colder months, the benches are lined with sheepskin throws for added warmth and comfort. Three tables are also equipped with heaters, allowing guests to enjoy outdoor seating even on chilly days.
