URSUS Craft Brewery, the first brewery in Ružomberok, is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Čutkovská Valley in the Lower Liptov region. It was established as a natural extension of the U Dobrého Pastiera resort, which has been offering peace, relaxation, and memorable experiences to local visitors and guests from afar for many years. The brewery complements the resort's offerings with authentic craft beer, carefully brewed using traditional methods and proven recipes.

In our brewing process, we place great emphasis on high-quality ingredients – malt, hops, and above all, water from the Čutkovská Valley, which gives our beer its distinctive character and flavour.

The entire process is overseen by our experienced brewmaster, Peter Bačkor. The beer undergoes open fermentation and then matures in lagering tanks under carefully controlled temperature and time conditions, allowing it to develop its full body and balanced flavour.

We invite you to join a guided tour of our URSUS Brewery, set in the heart of the beautiful countryside of the Lower Liptov region.

Discover the history of brewing and the story of our brewery from its very beginnings. Learn how it grew from an idea and enthusiasm into the brewery it is today. You will explore the essential stages of the brewing process, gain insight into the technology, and uncover some of the secrets of the brewer’s craft. We will also introduce you to the unique ingredients and traditional methods that give our beers their distinctive character.

To conclude the tour, you will have the opportunity to sample a selection of beers from our own production.

The guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, during which there will be plenty of time for discussion, questions, and the exchange of ideas about the craft and enjoyment of beer. Our goal is to share with you the passion, pleasure, and good spirit that this exceptional beverage brings.

URSUS Brewery also offers a unique venue for private and corporate events. Every gathering can be complemented not only by our authentic craft beer, but also by quality cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you are planning a corporate party, team-building event, or a get-together with friends, we will take care of everything from the initial idea to the final toast. The venue has a capacity of 25 guests, with additional seating for up to 8 guests on the terrace.

We are also pleased to introduce Limčutka – the first lemonade from the Čutkovská Valley. This refreshing organic lemonade combines the flavours of apple, mint, and orange. Lightly sparkling and naturally delicious, it is the perfect companion after a hike, on a hot summer day, or while relaxing by the stream.
